It's been a while since we did this exercise. Everyone's busy coping with the nasty pandemic although I'm sure everyone is coping well as evidenced by your fabulous photographs and challenge entries.
One Week Only is not a challenge that puts pressure on you or your time or skills. Although this runs for just one week, you have the option to participate for the whole week, or just for a couple of days; in fact, you may even post your entries next week or whenever you get to it. There is no voting; the competition is within yourself so there are only winners. Whether you're a newbie or an old-hand 365er or in-between, this exercise is for you! You may choose to post new photos or if you have one in your archives last week or last year that fits the prompt for the day, by all means, post it and tag it as such. The one caveat is you took the photos yourself.
There are seven prompts for each day of the week, chosen through random.org, for one week only, and then we move on with our lives. You may switch the days and prompts as you like, because we live by the mantra "your project, your rule".
ALSO: if your entry fits the other challenges, feel free to tag them as such.
Remember, interpretation of the prompts is only limited by your imagination.
If you are in a place where a government-imposed lockdown is in effect, all of the prompts can be done indoors or just outside your home, in the garden, in the yard, with very minimal or no contact at all with others.
November is the perfect time to start so here are the prompts for each day of the week. So, ladies and gentlemen, get your cameras ready!
Monday - Patterns
Tuesday - Night photography or low key
Wednesday - Any mundane object (but you shoot it as artistically as you can)
Thursday - Fill the frame
Friday - Black and white portrait (or self-portrait)
Saturday - Macro
Sunday - Look up!
That's it. Easy-peasy, ain't it?
Let's start on Monday, November 1st and tag our photos OWO-4 so we can easily find them!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Come play along! Tell your 365 friends!
You also might want to give a shout out to your friends by posting on this thread your favourite OWO entry. If your most favourite photo is your own, why not?
I just posted on that fits Monday.
