Got imagination and not sure what to do with it? Create a magazine cover to entice a very unusual audience - something OTHER than people. Pretend your audience can read and you must tempt them to get between the pages.
Decide on your audience and create your cover. Make sure your audience is obvious! Imagination is the key. The possibilities are endless... I prefer fantasy, but you can use inanimate objects if you like... The dwarves or elves from Lord of the Rings, the monkeys from the Jungle Book, the rabbits in the warren from Watership Down, the dragons of Pern, space aliens, or sweaters with fibers that pill! Draw inspiration from your books, movies, TV shows, or dreams. If you have a beautiful slick magazine lying around, use their cover teasers to warp and twist YOUR teasers to fit your audience.
1. Use standard LETTER SIZE or PORTRAIT format - NOT landscape or square please.
2. Use one of your photos for the cover
3. Create a title for your magazine cover that's inclusive of your chosen audience.
4. Write your teaser headlines to tempt your specific audience. The more teasers you can create - the better! Make them funny or make them daring.
5. Make sure your audience is obvious at a glance! Is it fairies, trolls, ghouls, aliens, gnomes or beds that talk back to you? Be specific.
This challenge will run from December 1 to January 15 since we're running a little late. Tag your covers with NFPMag-5. Hopefully, photos can be seen here - https://365project.org/tags/nfpmag-5
It would be very nice to post your covers here to keep this thread in view.
