Is anyone interested in taking some film photos for August? Do you have a couple of exposed rolls of film sitting around waiting to be developed? If so, let's tag them analogaugust2022.
Ooooh.... that is awesome!!! I'll give it a go. But will probably be posting later in the month, after developing the roll. But first find it and then expose it for what it really is: an unexposed roll of film :D
Ooh I have roll in mum's camera to finish and them get developed and printed. I'll finish it in August, take it to printer and upload the few that might be ok
I did an analog August a couple of years ago, using old (really old) photos. I'm not even sure where to get film developed around here any more, but it would be fun to try.
No film waiting to be developed and no film to put in film cameras but it might be fun to revisit some that were from my film days- I'll aim for a week of that and see what happens.
I am in although it will be the end of August before I upload as I have a film and a couple of film cameras to use as well as some slides I can try to scan and save to a photo CD.
I broke out my old DSLR lately and shot a roll of B&W film. If it ever comes back from the processing place, I may have some shots to upload. Maybe I'll shoot a roll of color, that seems a but easier to get processed.
Due to an unexpected impromptu visit from 2 of our grands, I'll probably miss out on putting this together. My plan was to pull out some of my old slides and have them put into digital format. I don't know if I'll get around to that, but maybe later this month. So I'm aiming for a week- and I hope I can do it.
@olivetreeann Visiting grandkids is a great reason to postpone this! Thanks for your continuing prayers and concern. I AM improving from Covid. My husband's physical health is improving due to physical therapy, but his dementia has worsened.
Hopefully will get some photos this week. Left film in which I will be picking up either tomorrow or Wednesday and leaving another couple in which I hope to get if not Friday then next Tuesday.
I find the Lomography website has great examples of creative film shots: https://www.lomography.com/
