As runner up of get pushed 519, I have been asked to choose finalists for get pushed 520. As we are very late in the week, and really finalists for get pushed 521 should have been chosen, I will count votes on Sunday morning. So my choice - in no particular order are as follows:
1. Petes post was challenged by @salsa to do macro. There is nice detail here on the centre of the flower.
2. Mary @mcsiegle challenge was โmaking something small in the photo the main focus of the picture.โ The eye is certainly drawn to the focus in this photo, even though this focus is very small.
3. This challenge from April was 'before and after'. I like how the sepia tones and the same setting enhances the difference between the whole garlic and the chopped garlic.
4. The challenge for Sally @salza from Laura @la_photographic was to create a montage. This is a fabulous response to that challenge.
5. Francoise had the challenge from acqueline @jacqbb to do a dutch tilt photograph. The tilt is a technique to make the viewer feel somewhat uncomfortable. I like the juxtaposition between the comfort of the couch and the feeling of something not quite being right.
Thanks for all the quick and timely replies. It was pretty close, but the winner by a small margin is Sally @salza for her face montage. Congratulations Sally. Over to you now to choose the finalists for get-pushed-521.
