Minimal-34 Challenge is Up

November 21st, 2022
Many thanks to Kathryn M @kametty for hosting the previous Minimalism Challenge (Letters) and to all who took the trouble to enter and vote. I’m surprised and honoured to have been voted the winner.

After looking at past themes and thinking a bit, I have chosen ‘seeds’ as the theme for the next chapter of this challenge. This could be a single seed, all alone, or the seeds inside a pumpkin, or pepper, or from some other fruit or seed head from the garden. The main requirement, of course, is that it should be captured in a minimalistic style.

Here is some helpful info I’ve copied from the previous challenge intro:

Minimalism is the art of less is more. Minimalist photography uses the minimum amount of components such as colour, shape, line and texture to emphasise the subject matter and 'negative space' can play a big part in minimalist images.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
