Many thanks to Ann LeFevre @Olivetreeann for hosting Eye of the Beholder 147. I was so tickled that my stacked up books were voted the winner! Now, onwards to EOTB-148.
This challenge is about using light, the rules of composition and your photographer's eye to find the beauty in your subject. The challenge is to portray your subject in a way that comes across differently and aesthetically pleasing even though initially the subject may not appear that way. The idea is that anyone watching you should wonder why in the world anyone would photograph THAT!
A bit of post-processing is okay, but please go lightly with edits -- there are other challenges for processing - and it's your subject that needs to shine through!
I am backdating to the end of EOTB-147 in case anyone has been waiting to tag a photo they’ve already shot.
Start Date: January 15, 2023
End: February 28, 2023
Tag: EOTB-148
There are only two rules which apply to this challenge:
1- the photo must be taken within the appointed time frame, and,
2- the photo must be taken by you.
Enter as often as you find subjects which you think are unique and have that unexpected beauty, but only one of your entries will make it to the short list if selected. Entries can be seen here https://365project.org/tags/EOTB-148
