Thank you to John Walton aka @lumpiniman for hosting the last round.
I love this new challenge. The objective is to capture an image of a statue, memorial, or sculpture in isolation or as part of an overall scene. Such things are very much a part of life in streets, parks, museums, churches, art galleries, your own home or garden, burial grounds, war memorials......there is a huge variety to be found once you start to look.
This challenge will fall across the 80th anniversary of VE Day, which takes place on 8th May 2025. I recognise VE Day is more significant in European countries, but many other countries around the globe also use the date for reflection and remembrance.
So as a theme, have a look around your area and see how you can creatively photograph statues, memorials or sculptures that have any kind of military or remembrance significance.

The challenge will run from Monday 21st April until Monday 19th May 2025.
Looking forward to seeing your entries with thanks.
Casablanca -
This challenge ends on Monday - and it is still Monday here in North America. While I suspect there will not be more entries, you should wait a day from where you are to give everyone a chance to get their shots in before you short list.
@farmreporter Ah, sorry. Only the second thing I have ever hosted. I remembered Australia was already moving in Tuesday...... I don't always get all the time zones right. Apologies.
@casablanca
Well - you have done a fabulous job considering it is only the second challenge you have hosted!
Your work is awesome so I am sure you will be doing this again!
