Thanks Taffy @taffy for running Sports Action 28 and thanks to all those who participated and voted. Having won the last round with my photo of a rollerskater, it falls to me to run this one.
This challenge is a fairly broad one in terms of subject matter. The only restriction is that the main subject should be a human actively engaged in a sport of some kind. This challenge is not limited to competitive sports; recreational running, cycling, swimming, etc. all count, though simply walking the dog does not.
Subjects may be found in any number of places. You might spot some action on your local tennis courts, soccer field, baseball diamond or golf course. If there's open water where you are, perhaps you'll see a swimmer, surfer, or kayaker. You could shoot a jogger or ‘fast walker’ or a cyclist almost anywhere! Sports action is all around us so get out there with your cameras and show us people all over the world having fun while engaged in sports!
Photos taken between April 19, 2025 (backdated to the end of the last round), and May 25, 2025 will qualify for this round of the Sports Action challenge. Enter as many photos as you like, but only one shot per photographer can be selected as a finalist.
Please consider participating as the number of submissions has been quite low. Also, it helps if you post your photo or comments in this thread to keep the thread more visible.
