WWYD-245 is ready

March 14th, 2026
Thanks Ann @Olivetreeann, for hosting the last round of WWYD. Also, thanks to all who voted for my image in the first vote and for the tiebreaker with Christine's @365projectorgchristine fantastic image.

I decided to go with the image below because of the water element in the background and the open space in the foreground—many options for changing the sky and doing cropping. I visited Chambers Bay Park, Tacoma, Washington, and took many photos with my Canon Rebel.

The WWYD Challenge allows you to process or alter the image in any way you want to. You can use the base image in part or as a whole. You can change the colors, add things in, take things away, flip, blur, change the setting, or whatever you’d like. It’s all up to you, but your finished image must still have some element of the original in it.

To keep things simple and follow the guidelines of our last round, we’re steering clear of pure AI generation for this challenge. However, feel free to use AI-assisted tools for standard editing—like lighting or swapping backgrounds to make your composites blend perfectly. Likewise, photo enhancements are perfectly fine to help your vision come together.

For those who want to go full AI, definitely check out the latest Text2image challenge!"

Start date: March 13, 2026
End: April 20, 2026
(voting will take place shortly thereafter)

Your photo additions can be from any time period. You can submit as many entries as you’d like, but only one image per photographer can be selected (if selected) for the final vote.

Have fun!! I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with this.
