Tomorrow, April 9th, brings us into week 15 of the Capture52 challenge, and this week’s theme will be:
Week 15 (9 April - 15 April) Fill the frame
Move closer to your subject and use the whole frame. Eliminate distractions and let the viewer see the details.
Tags for this week: 52wc-2026-w15 (for here on 365), and #Capture52 or #Capture52week15 for social media.
If you’ve just joined 365, or you’ve been here a while and wondered what’s it’s all about, this is a 52 week challenge with a new theme each week. The idea is to prompt you to try out new techniques, ideas you might not have thought of, and to take you out of your comfort zone with your photography – but in a friendly, relaxed way! You’re not obliged to do every prompt, so if you miss a week (or two), nobody minds. It’s not a competition, it’s just for fun.
If you would like me to tag you when I’m posting the weekly prompts, please leave a comment below and I’ll add you to the list.
As always, I’d like to thank the creators of this challenge, Alison Crea and Justine Solomano, who run the Capture52 Challenge over on Facebook, and who have very kindly allowed us to follow along here on 365 for the last few years. If you’re on Facebook, please do join the group. It’s a friendly, positive group for all photography types and skill levels
