I am delighted to be hosting the 9th Back to Basics Challenge.
The basis of this challenge is that you Get It Right in Camera .
No straightening horizons, no highlighting shadows, no sharpening contrasts. In fact No Post Processing!!
The theme for this challenge is "snails-eye-view". This gives opportunities to get your lighting spot on, balance your composition and be creative with depth of field. Your photo can be close up or distant as long as it's from low down (you can set your camera or phone on the ground and use it's self timer so you don't need to be lying down or crouching). It is good practise to try and get things right in camera. It is so easy these days to do creative editing!
Usual rules apply, photograph taken within the dates, no processing and it's your photo with no AI input.
