Time for the Next Text-2-Image Round with a twist

Thanks to@zilli for hosting the last challenge—thank you to everyone who took the time to vote.

The last text-to-image challenge was a lot of fun—trying to recreate the target image using whatever tools, prompts, and iterations we wanted.

I went back the original information for this challenge provided by John Walton @lumpiniman in 2024.
==============================================================
" Over the last twelve months, the use of artificial intelligence in generating a complete or partial image and integrating this into another image has increased exponentially. One aspect of this is the concept of ‘text to image.’

"I fully appreciate that there are differing and diverse views on the application of ‘artificial intelligence’ and its application to photography."

"What I thought would be an interesting challenge would be to give members a written text description of an image and invite members to use the text to generate an image in any program they use. The image produced may or may not then be processed in any way the poster wishes.".
==============================================================

There were many views and opinions about AI and text-to-image in the first challenge.

Thanks @lumpiniman for this great challenge.

This round, to encourage more participation, there will be a twist.

Consider using your own photo to create prompts.

If you do not want to use your photo consider just make up some prompts.

Here is my real photo and the possible variations for text-2-image:

1. Upload your own photo into a program and use the AI generator to add or re-create.

2. Create prompts from your real photo for an AI generator
Cinematic photorealistic silhoutte shot of a woman looking out a large picture window taking a cell phone photo of the New York Harbor.

3. https://deepai.org/machine-learning-model/text2img A free version is available with 100 styles. Just enter your prompts from your photo. HD is Free
Prompt: Woman standing at a very large picture window taking a cell phone picture of the New York Harbor. Selected a painterly style

4. Upload your photo to an AI program such as BeFunky
Added Effects and Art applications (Not the same as prompts but similar)

5. Use your photo prompts and add some addition features
A woman taking a cell phone photo out of a large window photo. It has the woman's silhoutte. looking out a large picture window taking a cell phone photo of the New York Harbor. Illustrated in an enchanting whimsical storybook fantasy style with surreal, dreamlike charm. Whimsical bookshelves, tiny staircases, charming furniture. Soft golden illumination. Stylized woman rather than realistic, with elongated proportions.

6. Totally change the prompts from your real photo - Just for fun A bear standing at a window taking a cell phone photo of an enchanted forest

Several AI generators are free online in case you don't have editing software or your software doesn't have that capability. Just search for AI image generator.

Submit as many entries as you would like, however, only one entry per person to be a finalist.

Here's the particulars for this round:
Starts August 5, 2026
Ends September 16, 2026
Tag: text2image-21

It would be fun to know which program you have used or any steps.

Might be a fun way to create an abstract for Abstract August?
