Let's all give a big congratulations to Brad Johnson for winning the "What in the World" weekly theme with this photo. Click here to view all the other fabulous entries.
Brad has chosen a really fun theme for us this week of "What's Your Perspective." To be a more specific we're going to play around with a worm's eye perspective this week. This is a really great theme for us to look at our surroundings from a different angle.
Here are a couple of great examples to get your ideas going: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
As always, to enter your photo to this weeks theme, you need to upload and tag a photo with the tag "theme-wormseye"
Entry to this theme starts on Monday (19th April) and will accept entries until Sunday night (23:59 GMT 25th April), voting will begin the following day.
Entries must have been taken and uploaded this week only! Entries outside of the date range will not be accepted. You can enter up to 7 entries (one for each day of the week).
Ah, here in the Netherlands we call this frog-perspective. I have never done that. I tried some this afternoon, but they did not work out yet. I still have to figure out what works with this perspective.
congrats brad, amazing shot!
this sounds like fun, and like others have said, i'm already pretty odd, so me on the ground with a camera.... so one will look twice....^^
Lori when you upload your picture there is a place to put a title, description and tag, then you confirm its the correct date. Where the tag space is you write "theme-wormseye" you can of course add any other tags that you find fitting. Hope this helps.
1st - congrats to Brad...you certainly deserved it!
I guess my dandelion shot from last week would have qualified...but that's okay...I got one today...er, it is now after midnight so it was yesterday (Monday) and guess what I made a fool of myself...started out on one knee but ended up on my belly...see my 1st worm's eye view shot for April 19...was pretty funny but at least I got a photo out of it :-)
I don't know if anyone is still coming to this site, but a friend emailed me this word I thought you'd all enjoy...still trying to figure out how to pronounce it!
OK enough's enough! Tonight I was at the Sydney Opera House seeing the brilliant Australian Ballet Company dance the Silver Rose. Came out and took various shots of the Opera House steps for the worm theme, getting a damp bottom in the process. I think I've finally gone mad!
edit: Congrats to Brad ofcourse.

But, this sounds really great!
I can't wait to get started!
