Welcome to this week’s version of the Weekly So Happy It’s Thursday (SH*T) list that comes just in time for everyone to include in their busy weekend. Please feel free to print – or bookmark – this page so you can keep track of all the great challenges out there. You can easily fill your project with all of them!
Back home once again – and life is slowly getting back to normal. My boss certainly missed me and has thrown a REALLY long bus run at me – now driving 7 hours a day until Christmas. The first words out of his mouth was “You’re a good driver, I know you can do it!” Gee, thanks!!
While the Weekly SH*T list only lists the ending date of the current challenges, please go through the discussion board to find challenges to be voted on. Voting can be just as important as participation and is generally the most fun and exciting part of the challenges.
I also find that there are a ton of interesting topics to be found on the discussion board that I do not mention in the SH*T list such as Flash Back Fridays and opportunities to post your favourite Fav’s and other photos. Please go back a couple of pages through the Discussion board to find these gems that might get buried quickly when there is a lot of activity on the Discussion board.
Don’t forget to hit the link to check out the details of any challenges you are considering in case I may have messed up the dates or such.
@adi314
My actual route is only driving 45 minutes twice a day which adds up to 1.5 hours. But then - it is 1.25 hours of dead-heading to my first pick-up, 45 minutes home from the school, 45 minutes back to the school at which I have to be there a full half hour before the kids are let out, and then 1.25 dead-heading home once again. Then there is the pre-trip bus check first thing in the morning, and daily bus fueling. So - time does seem to fly by quickly.
My bus company does not have a replacement driver any closer than me, which is why I have so much dead heading time. (I live in Glen Robertson and my first / last stop is in Lafaivre (on the Ottawa River by Alfred)
My mom is doing well - she had two stents put in her heart so it will just take some time for her to recover now.
@farmreporter wow, that makes is for a long day, so I'm guessing you don't have much time to help out in the farm then? I'm glad your mom is doing well.
