Thanks to Dawn Louise who hosted the last round and many thanks to those who chose my image from the shortlisted. I have had sleepless nights and could not find suitable a photo.
I did not want another barn or house, so living in the country, I thought this might be appropriate.
I took it yesterday and it is a raw file unedited. I just changed it to jpeg because of the size. Don't even know if that was right ;-) . Hope it is good enough.
This is a fun challenge where you get to play around with someone else's photo without the pressure of perfecting your own. You can improve it, put it in a composite, change the mood, introduce new components or textures- whatever your photo-processing heart desires!
Here are the basic rules:
• Save the base image to your computer. Note: if you select “Sizes” in the right-side menu and scroll down to the original or large option you can copy/paste the https line to your browser or download.
• Go wild with any kind of editing techniques you like – anything goes! You can keep as much or not as much of the original image as you like.
• Upload to one of your albums and tag it WWYD187.
Your fellow 365'ers would also like to see your creation so come back and add your picture to this discussion thread. You can do this by selecting “edit” at your photo. To add your image in a reply, click on the arrow near your favourite and comment numbers on the image and copy the “embed” code, then paste into the reply.
You can enter as many variations of this image as you like but only one of them will be put in for the vote if selected.
CHALLENGE STARTS October 24, 2019
CHALLENGE END DATE: November 17, 2019
This challenge is a great way to have fun trying out editing techniques, apps and online tools you have not tried before. Have fun with things like: horizon straightening, tone and colour controls, healing tools, structure details, sharpening, gradients, filters, layers, dodge and burn, masks and textures.
Here is the starting image, I hope it works for you. Good luck :-)
Love it! I know what you mean about trying to come up with an image - that's the toughest part! You did a great job of finding one - even if you had to put some extra effort into it - it's much appreciated! I already had a go:
