We had a horrible rainy sunday morning, so when it stopped around noon, all tourists kept inside. With my annual pass I walked 10km and cycled the way back 8km (free white bikes) in the national park. Because of the lack of visitors, those wild boars were just rooting around in full daylight and (without a telezoom) I could get rather close, till one of the ladies started growling.
Great shot. Wild boars are scary! There are only a few in Norway but all of them are close to the Swedish border so luckily no chance of bumping in to one here on the west coast :-)
@helstor365 We have about 10,000 in our small country... Some villages in the forest center of the country don't fear them for their violence, but because they can easily and quickly ruin your garden (as you can see on this photo, though in nature). Just take care you don't get in between parents and the striped young boars!
