Mohakatino Falls

I have heard of this waterfall but have never had a chance to visit until this weekend. I think it is possible to trek into these falls but it would take a long time through some very rugged bush country.

@777margo @fbailey Thank you for commenting. It was quite a long drop and I loved the way it fell into a round horseshoe shaped pool.
@paul10 It certainly is a great place. I totally agree with you about the helicopter! :-)

@kathiecb Totally agree with you Kathie. I do have quite a few other photos and some without the helicopter. Others with the helicopter totally in the photo - which is better than half in!!

I like the way the helicopter is on that edge - it gives a sense of proportion to the size of the walls and the waterfall.
