I took today off because I had an appointment this morning. Afterwards, I decided to head to the zoo to take a few pictures. I love the zoo--it's a place that makes me happy. I took 162 pictures and had a difficult time selecting just one for my picture of the day, but I chose this one because I love big cats. This is the first time I've been since Jonothan, the lion, died, so that was a little sad not seeing him with the "girls".The animals were all out today--even the bears were swimming, which I have never seen before despite the many times I've been to the zoo. I enjoyed my "me time" and I'm glad I went.
Today I'm thankful for....
1. trusting God and His plan
2. God putting people in my path right when they're needed
3. the zoo--my happy place
4. the love from family and friends
5. my mom who is always there when I need her---Love you, mom
