I decided not to take a picture for the challenge today because I was supposed to take a picture of my phone. I have already done that and I just wasn't "feeling" it!! :) Instead I decided to take a picture of one of my favorite ornaments. I can't wait to move and decorate for the holidays.
Yesterday was a pretty tough day....Eddie lost his job. I wasn't sure if I wanted to write about it on here but I know this project is supposed to document my year--the good AND the bad. Yesterday I was pretty devastated but today I have HOPE. I know God has a plan and He will take care of us. Sometimes we don't understand His plan at first, but He does know what He's doing. :)
Through all this, I pray for patience and for understanding. I also pray that I'm able to be a supportive wife...that I find the right words to encourage Eddie and let him know I am proud of him... no matter what....
Hugs! I understand how devastated you would feel. It's difficult but as always I adrmire your faith and strength to have hope. I am here in the good and the bad...!
Beautiful picture to give you hope as well. And...another hug!
Hope - great title for both the photo and your story! Your strength is amazing! This is the season for miracles - watch for it! Hugs and good thoughts for you!
Yes, the timing seems very bad, but as you said, He does have a plan, its just not in view yet, and it is always hard waiting and trying to understand.
Della, I am so sorry to hear about your husband's job, but you are so right when you say that The Lord knows what he is doing.,...trust in him and keep your faith! Wish I could give you a hug!
My thoughts are with you Della. I admire your courage and hope, and you are right things will work out, but it is tough along the way. We are here for you!
Della, I'm sorry to hear your news....I can imagine how hard it was to share with us here...by your words, you've already done the first step in being the supportive and loving wife. You will get through this difficult time. Thank you for sharing with your 365 family. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

The ornament is beautiful, and perfect for your title. What keeps me going, through the hard times, so knowing that when God closes a door, he opens a window. Sometimes it takes longer than I think it should for the window to open, but it always does open. I will pray that that window opens soon.
such a gorgeous shot amidst your personal crisis... interesting that you would turn to the Lord for a shot today instead of your challenge... my heart goes out to you and your family. i hope things work out in his new job search....
Beautiful picture to give you hope as well. And...another hug!
