5.17 Origins no. 1

Going through family albums, I got an idea. This is me, overlapped on a photo of my grandfather (my mother's father) in his thirties. More to come.
P.S.: slightly more comprehensible on black. And from far...
great idea and terrific processing!

very strange effect. I thought at first it was one photo, just striped in b&w/color. I still only see one person. Maybe that's the point.

@francoise Thank you, Françoise. Yes, you got the point... Actually, only eyes are almost perfectly overlapping, all the rest is very approximate, yet the effect is strangely of a unique person. Identity plays tricks...

i, too, see only one person but upon closer inspection, i deem there are two d different images that were overlapped. very creative and clever of you. aces!

@summerfield Thank you, Vikki. Yes, it's me and my grandfather (mother's line) overlapped, as the other 3 I posted in the following.

What an interesting thing that you did here, it does look like just one person, but I can see it is two, very clever editing.

This is so unique and fascinating. I started going 'back' with your photos but thought I should start at the beginning of the week to fully get it - I understand now! This is incredible and it looks like one person indeed - very well done and so interesting!

Most fabulous concept - like how you've left perfection out of this, most people aren't perfect. Fav!

@bfairfield Thank you very much: though, I have to admit that it was due to eyes alignment more than to a reasoned composition choice...
@joysabin No, I'm definitely not! Thank you kindly.
