And on Saturday I was in Palermo, Sicily, for another presentation of my novel. In the shadow of a majestic, hundreds of years old ficus tree recalling Mr. Cameron's movie... And I would have appreciated an avatar to travel Italy South to North to South again in three days!
wow, firstly, good luck with your novel presentation, this amazing shot jumped out of my homepage.

That's an incredible fig - love the aerial root system. Love the other worldly effect with the blue light.

The light really brings out the roots of the fig tree. What is your novel?

@yaorenliu Thank you very much, Yao, it's going very well, we are more than happy. The venue for this presentation was out-of-our-worldish!
@helenhall Thank you, Helen! Truly exciting, I'm having fun as if I were a teenager!
@dkbarnett Thanks, Delwyn! It's (only) 180 years old, they told me... and the blue lights for the "stage" made the rest!
@888rachel Thank you, Rachel! A lucky combination, I must say. The novel is about a forgotten piece of history, a story in Ethiopia during the Italian "Empire" declared by the fascists in 1936. Blood, love, mystery and plots, all based on true stories reported in an awful lot of documents never known before (to historians, not only to the public... ;-))
@joysabin Thank you a lot, Joy! Much appreciated, you know it!
