@francoise Thank you very much, Françoise! @365street Thank you so much! I am convinced that having fun is the best way to convey fun! @yaorenliu Thank you very very much!
This is totally inspired and cleverly done... kudos to you Sir - and good luck when Signorina Dodaro finds out what you've been up to when her back was turned!
@s4sayer No shock meant: it was a swimsuit... Very sporty, very tight but a swimsuit :-) Thank you! @vignouse So kind of you, Richard... Would your guest room be free for, say, the next six months? ;-P
@domenicododaro Mrs S pointed out that I should have referred to Mrs D as Signora Dodaro... but I reminded her that us sentimental and romantic husbands see, when we look at our wives, the young girl that we fell in love with.
@helenhall Well, you need to expose yourself sometimes... (Kodak) lol, thank you! @juliedduncan so kind of you, Julie, I’m humbled. Thank you dearly! @wenbow thank you so much, Wendy! @jyokota I don’t know why, but I visualized this photo when I saw the painting... thank you very much for your kind words!
Domenico the entire series of pictures modified this way is just great! Clever, original, artistic! Just proud of you. One day you must come to VR and show me how you do it! Fav all of them
@caterina Thank you so much, Caterina... More to come, I fear... But it is real fun! I'm humbled for your kind words. Sure I will come to Verona sooner or later, it will be a pleasure to meet!
@yrhenwr thank you very much, David! Actually, it’s two different shots: one of the painting and the other of myself. In the appropriate position and with the proper lighting, of course. I layered the two shots, deleted the irrelevant parts of my selfie, selectively corrected the color to match the painting original colors,added some shadows, merged the layers and added a texture to the canvas... a tad longer than an in-camera double exposure! Ah... believe me, I was sufficiently embarrassed even wearing trunks!
@domenicododaro Thanks for the explanation which illustrates why I don't do this kind of thing! :-) A few clicks is more than enough time for me to spend at the laptop
@kali66 😳
