Platoon by domenicododaro

Platoon

If a pen is mightier than a sword, imagine what an entire platoon can do...
Good point! (Pun intended)

@caterina Thank you, Caterina!

Neat image...very precise repetition

@seattlite Too kind of you... Actually, the line is slightly bent down towards the right end... :(

Very clever and creative thinking Domenico. Did your Roman ancestors have a term for a platoon of centurions?
October 9th, 2018
Words are forever but the slash of the sword is monetary. This is so very creative.

@golftragic thank so much! Yes, it would be a “Legion” (hence “legionaries”)
@joysabin ...and I’ more comfortable with leaking ink than with blood spilling!!! Thank you!
October 9th, 2018
@domenicododaro Like that, leaking ink.
October 9th, 2018
@domenicododaro Ahh, thank you. I've learned something new, always makes for a good day.

@joysabin argh, my English...
@golftragic 🙂

Actually, my typing is suspect - should have been momentary. :):)
October 11th, 2018
@joysabin haha, I had guessed it. Though the “monetary” slash of sword is rather interesting!

Good thought, and the Platoon is ranked with badges.
October 14th, 2018
@yaorenliu of course... thank you!
October 14th, 2018
Scary....they are going to turn their fire on us!
October 16th, 2018
@yrhenwr haha, they do all the time. Only nowadays they're fragmented into bytes, kilobytes, megabytes and their fire shot over social networks...
October 16th, 2018
Interesting idea nicely executed... would that more people recognised this as a truth!
October 17th, 2018
@vignouse or go acknowledge it... thanks, Richard!

Playfully fun! But I have so many questions . . .

October 22nd, 2018
@jyokota Feel free to ask, I'll be more than happy to answer (if I know the answer...)

@domenicododaro -- for one, why are BIC pens made in Mexico?
another is how did you get a few that are much brighter ?
October 23rd, 2018
@jyokota Oh, for your first question, you made me curious: I checked the BIC website. It seems the company is substantially global, with 27 factories all over the world. Obviously, the ones in the "Southern part" of the world must be much cheaper to run! And as to the brightness, I think it depends on the position of the pen on the scanner glass: an angle slightly wider or tighter implies a different reflection of the scanner light. :)

@domenicododaro -- logical explanations! Thx!
