Glass ceiling by domenicododaro

Glass ceiling

And the evening of the vernissage we were out for dinner with the publisher, the authors and my daughter, on a rooftop restaurant overlooking the glass ceiling of the "Galleria Vittorio Emanuele" in Milan. Just wow.
Great leading lines, composition, patterns and neat light, sky color

I could look at this shot for ages Domenico. The lines are amazing, especially the very pleasing combination of straight lines, curves and arches. The light and clarity is superb.

@seattlite @joysabin @gardenfolk @golftragic @jyokota @4rky @graemestevens @pistache Thank you all so much and apologize for the mass reply: I am still struggling with work. It's so kind of you to take the time to comment notwithstanding my rudest absence during the last weeks...

Domenico this is beautiful. I did not know there was a restaurant above the Galleria. Very elegant I imagine. Great lines, sharpness, clarity and lights. Fav, absolutely, to you and to Milan!

@caterina actually a pizzeria, rather nice however. Thanks a lot!

I wonder if under your guide, in the same conditions with my camera I would obtain the same results. You know the story of the guy who made a sculpure under the guide of Michelangelo and then was all happy that he had become a great artist...Seriously, I wonder if my camera is too "entry level" to obtain good results. What do you think?

This is an absolute perfect picture in multiple ways. Love it.

Fab composition, lines and light - fav

@caterina There's a good deal of postproduction here, actually. Sure a more pro-sumer camera would help: new sensors and in-camera processors are going light-years ahead, but a good software is essential. We should talk about it!

Beautifully composed with the leading lines placed just so. Hard to see how this might be improved upon... it's a spectacular 'blue-hour' shot.
