Myrtle production 2

Infusing not only means that the berries let their violet color to the alcohol, but also that they absorb quite a bit of the precious liquid (pricing of pure alcohol in Italy is rather awesome: the raw material cost is about 1.5 Euros a liter, then there are taxes on top for about 13 Euros... foolish, huh?). So a thorough pressing is due.
I feel particularly sympathetic with the berries, I admit.
Seriously impressive feat, in my opinion!

@blueberry1222 more complicated the legal than the practical part, actually!

What a huge mark-up on taxes, that IS foolish indeed! Nice little berries being all absorbent :) beautiful color!

This picture is so beautiful that I wonder if it is worth to have a DSRL or even a more sophisticated camera when an iPhone can perform so well. But again it's not the camera but the eye behind it, isn't it? Fav

@kerosene Indeed, taxes are devouring us in Italy. The nice little drunken dudes gave me some work to make them return that they had absorbed!
@caterina Thank you, Caterina! There's also a little Photoshopping involved, though... But I do agree, a camera is but an instrument.
@yrhenwr Of course!
@bankmann Thank you!
@hrs Thanks!
@gardenfolk The color is the same, only this is much thicker :)
