Food for the soul #5

Beauty hides behind every corner, blinks from the darkness of a doorway, ignored by most, even dreaded by some. Beauty is a responsibility nobody wants to undertake.

OK..if this wasn't staged, it's a remarkable moment! I love this! I was so struck by the story line at this point, I had to keep reading., knowing I could come back with comments... I have to ask if you had a story in mind back in January when you were taking photos? This is all wonderful!

the hand in the door made that picture for me - that subtle sense of something unseen!
Fav!

@Weezilou Thank you very much! It wasn’t staged at all! Pure luck: I say this young lady coming out, and raised My camera, then she repented, and went in, holding the door open with her hand, and I shot exactly while the young man walked in front of me! One shot one kill!
As to your question: no, I hadn’t absolutely planned a story, and neither to use the photos for a story. It’s deploying while sorting the photos to put them in order, so that there is some kind of formal (visual) relationship in the sequence (forms, textures, balance, lines and the like leading from one photo to the other), and then I write, from upload to upload, without planning in advance. Very empirical!
@runner365 Thank you very much! As written above, a matter of pure luck.

To me, there's a sense about you that you are led, and you have the good sense and appreciation to seize upon where the unseen hand points you... Perhaps it also comes with surroundings, so many centuries old! OK...I hope that wasn't a bothersome tangent! Spilling thoughts...

@Weezilou Maybe you’re right. Whatever we call fortune or chance could be seen/called otherwise. Serendipity, for instance.
