Roger's picture on March 15th reminded me of this picture. The windmill on his picture looks much like this one. This was taken in Saskatchewan about 1956. What a great sunrise. The windmill supplied the power to pump the water to give to the cattle.
Beautiful image. We had windmills like this all over country until government introduced diesel pumps/engines to do their work. Most of the old windmills are gone now.
@sangwann We do not see many windmills around here anymore like those. Unfortunately they are being replaced by the big ones that are in many places in Canada and USA.
