Whistler Window by dorsethelen

Whistler Window

This is one of the beautiful engraved glass Whistler windows in St Nicholas Church, Moreton, Dorset. The windows replace the stained glass windows which were destroyed in World War Two - and they are absolutely stunning. See http://www.stnicholasmoreton.org.uk/about/4579459938. I usually convert my photos of these windows to mono but today I loved the effect that the blue sky was having on the glass.
Breathtakingly beautiful.

This is very beautiful. I can't help wondering how it would look in colour.

@laroque Its in colour, Tim! In fact I enhanced the blue slightly to make it more intense! It works in mono too . The glass is opaque and you just get a faint impression of sky through it

Absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't able to click on the link because of the full stop next to the link, so here it is without the full stop. http://www.stnicholasmoreton.org.uk/about/4579459938
