Flood Tide & Incoming Sleet, Poldhu Cove

Chancing my luck and getting my feet wet at Poldhu Cove, Lizard, Cornwall (never trust an incoming tide!). Slow shutter speed to emphasise the foreground movement.

Weekly Theme - Filters - Bright sunlight, so taken through a ten stop ND Filter to give a shutter speed of 0.8 sec, enough to streak the water swirl in the foreground, but keeping the shape of the waves in the background. Also used a 1.5 stop hard grad ND (also during taking) to reduce sky and sun brightness. Post processed in Lightroom.
Absolutely beautiful
