i know it's very similar to the edit I did yesterday, but I like the idea of this staircase leading to something light and hopeful. Especially with the greenery around it, even originally it's a very inviting image. I'm trying out new ways to edit photos. For these two I used a 2D art program called Krita, and since it's free, I'm going to keep on playing with it and see what things can be achieved.
sometimes it's hard though, as I don't consider 365 to be social media, except in some ways it has parts of the effects. i've never been able to keep an instagram, never had facebook. it's like, I'm putting stuff out there, what if no one likes it? when really that doesn't matter anyways. i am doing this for me, and to see my year and also to have fun. nothing will ever be perfect.
it's hard also to try and put myself out there in an authentic way. i mean, i don't even know what that really means. i wish i could be someone who writes beautifully about life but i am still the same girl who started her diary entries with "dear diary, how are you? i'm good."
Lol Dreary.radio (can I call you DR for short? It's a lot to type otherwise....)
I loved your image and your narrative. There are so many wonderful, supportive people on 365 - they'll all just accept you for who you are and what you post when you can. Have fun and enjoy your editing. I'll look forward to seeing more of your creations.
Cheers Rob
@robz thank you so much for your kind words, i feel a little weight lifted off my shoulders, truly. And yes, you can call me DR :p it sounds professional!
I have been loving your project so far, its unique and quirky and fun. This website is such a great place, i just realised this is my 9th year posting photos here!
@kali66 that means a lot, kali. wow! that is awesome! it's great to see how supportive people at 365 are, and that it's been a home to your photos for so long
