Peregrine Falcon at sunrise in Yellowstone National Park. Due to the fires up in Montana, we never had blue skies. Fortunately it has been snowing there the past few days.

Great lighting on a gorgeous bird....was that a smoky sunrise that provided that light?

@mjalkotzy Thank you, and yes it was a smokey sunrise. We had blue sky the morning we were leaving for a little bit...it rained the night before and cleared the smoke out

@dridsdale we have had a lot of smoke around Calgary this summer and it provides an eerie light....

sad about the wildlife that have no protection from the smoke and fire. it all has changed the photos people have posted from that area.
