2015 February 15: During my daily bird watch this afternoon, I remarked to my family that I would love to see an Eastern Bluebird in our yard today so I could count him/her for this year's Great Backyard Bird Count. (Bluebirds usually nest in our yard during the spring; I don't often see one during winter.)
As I was still speaking these words, I noticed a bird flit into the maple tree right in front of me ...To my surprise, it was an Eastern bluebird! I immediately started clicking the camera while I thanked the Lord for sending this bird at that very moment; I believe that these "coincidences" are God's way of showing me that He cares about all that concerns me!
At any rate, I was happy to see this beautiful bird and be able to grab a quick photo!
Thanks for your comments, Qui, John, Debi, Dawn S, and Frances Klein! I enjoy watching bluebirds ...They never come to my feeders, but I manage to lure them into view by putting up a bluebird house for them.
