2015 August 12: While I was out today, I stopped by Harvest Square Nature Preserve. It was a beautiful day with wonderful puffy clouds slowly floating overhead.
Although I did not have time for a proper hike, in my short time there I luxuriated in the warm sunshine and enjoyed hearing the birds chirping in the trees amid the rise-and-fall of cadence as locusts sang in the grass.
I am grateful that we have access to such areas in which we can enjoy nature!
