2015 November 3: Although winter comes last in my list of favorite seasons, I do enjoy having the winter birds return ...and I am thrilled to get the chance for a clear view of them in the absence of summer's lush growth.
Today I enjoyed seeing this beautiful Tufted Titmouse quite nearby on my deck.

I have learned something today: After reading your comment I was curious, so I looked up the occurrence map and found that although I only see Tufted Titmice at my feeders during the winter months, they actually are in my region all year! How cool! I'm going to start looking for them year-round now and maybe I will find where they are hiding from me during the summer.
