2016.02.25 Thursday: This tiny Carolina wren hopped around on our deck for a few minutes this morning ...cheerfully singing at the top of his lungs! It was very windy at the time; I noticed quite a bit of fallen maple buds surrounding him and littering my deck.
They have the cutest little butts!! Seems too tiny for their heads!! Great capture!! I love these little birds with the beautiful songs!! Promise to get back to commenting tomorrow!!! Love this!! FAV!
What a thrill, and wonderful capture of the experience...such lovely light, composition, details, and commentary! I love the Carolina Wrens. They're always poking around on our porches investigating every nook and cranny for a tasty insect, and their singing delights. A number of our bird houses are used by them each year, and it's pure joy to watch the nesting process.
