2016.04.13 Wednesday: Today was overcast with a forecast of soon-arriving rain, but I still managed a walk around our yard. I was quite surprised to see this dandelion bloom sticking out from the foliage of wild violets ...and also surprised at its cheerful bright beauty.
That cheery yellow brings a smile to my face, and what fun to find it tucked unusually into the violet's leaves. I love the clarity of this image and the textures, too. I know dandelions are considered weeds, but they sure are pretty!
