2017.10.12 Thursday: When Scott returned home from work this evening, he mentioned that I might want to see a butterfly that had landed beside our car just as he was coming inside.
I grabbed my camera and raced out to our garage to find this beautiful Common buckeye butterfly patiently posing for me to take a few pics. I mostly see Swallowtails at this time of year, so for me it was a thrilling sight to see this awesome butterfly up close!
