There's a field of red poppies......

The title is a quote from a song I'm very fond of. The friend who taught it to me calls it the gentlest anti-war song she knows.

Sometimes whole fields of poppies just spring up. This one is not very far from us and Lester was kind enough to make a slight detour on the way back from St.Albans today so that I could take some photos.
