Reservoir dog

It was sunny and very warm for November today. I decided to take myself off to the reservoirs and canal at Marsworth for a stroll.
I saw this little group across the reservoir from me. The children were having fun taking turns to throw a stick for the dog to retrieve, and with all that attention, the dog was having the time of its life!
The reservoir has been looking quite empty for some months now. When it's full the water reaches that kerb in the middle of the picture.
