Trying out the macro mode auto setting on a Christmas Cactus. Well, on the camera, at any rate. I don't think Christmas Cacti have macro mode settings. 0:-)
Next step - in the new year when some semblance of ordinariness is restored to daily life! - is to see what I can do to get more control over positioning the focus.

Have set my Canon on central dot focus and find it easier to use on macro, but can't get as close as on my little old point and shoot. Haven't tried my Lumix yet. There must be hundreds of 365ers all round the world trying out new settings! Starting a creative PhotoShop course in Jan, hoping for great things!!

Haven't got round to the P setting yet! Think I need a few lessons. I thought it would be easier than my EOS450 but there's more options on it - it is way better than my old p&s!
