As you know, I don't usually put individual thank you replies on my shots. However, I am always deeply appreciative of the time you take to look at and comment on what I post, and also your kindness. Thank you also to everyone who faves them and decides to follow. I do enjoy doing 365 and if I'm able to give others a little enjoyment and maybe a bit of a laugh from time to time, I'm glad.
So a big thank you to you. xx
Monday was quite a busy day but I spent 20 minutes or so while I was in Aylesbury having a go at taking shots of a part of the water features there. This is one of three elements that are supposed to be a calendar. There's a jet of water issuing from the pavement for each of the months of the year - currently turned off owing to the drought (they lose quite a lot of water because they're open air ). Then there's two of these tubes, one for the day, another for the hour. The water level is supposed to correspond to the appropriate markings on the glass. The whole thing is about as accurate as a totally mistaken thing from the planet Couldn't-Be-More-Wrong-If-It-Tried. But it's still quite fun, and thirsty dogs appreciate the water jets when they're operating.
I think the cloudy markings on the glass are etched in.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.
