Lester and I took our son, Gareth, to London today. Gareth comes home once a month or so and we try to get out somewhere. Today's trip was to Regent's Park for a snack lunch at the Honest Sausage cafe in the park and a walk round the lake, where there's quite a lot of herons who aren't at all fazed by the close proximity of human beans.

Beautiful shot and I love your use of the expression "human beans" :) When I was a child, my parents had a friend that used the term "Herman pings" - and your expression reminded me of that. :)
What a lovely capture. I visited regents park as a child, but I can't really remember it, is there a White bridge over the lake. The details of him here are great.
A very nice shot of the heron, Alison!
