I went to Waterperry gardens on Wednesday with the idea of looking at different camera settings a bit more closely. It was great fun and I came home tired out, happy and with a load of shots to sort through.
I hadn't really intended to try out different exposure times for motion blur but the pampas grasses waving around in a gusty wind were just too tempting.
It wasn't very scientific, of course, because you can't regulate the strengths of gusts of wind ! but it was still fun and good practice for balancing settings.
This is my favourite because it was really what I was trying to get.
There's a less frantic shot of the grasses in the extras album : http://365project.org/dulciknit/on-the-day-extr/2013-01-30

Great catch of the wind blown Pampas. We have a lot of those around here, too. And I expect them to be waving as well in the next few days. Beautiful look to this photo!
