Seedheads by dulciknit

Seedheads

These are almost certainly Physalis seedheads (info. courtesy of my friend, Susan, who knows a lot about gardening matters) .
This was taken on Wednesday at Waterperry Gardens but I did quite a bit of work on it on Thursday, so I'm posting it in Thursday's slot.

Hope everyone has a great weekend. xx
Somehow or the other I managed to delete the original posting of this shot whilst editing the caption! My apologies to those who had commented on it.

Simply gorgeous!!!

They look quite large seedheads. 'Two's company, three's a crowd' springs to mind when I see the composition. The two on the end of the twig seem to be a pair. :)

@sabresun Rather appropriate, Matt, they're a close relative of the Cape Gooseberry! :-D

What interesting seedheads. As someone commented, quite large. Like the vertical composition here. Quite appropriate for these.
