Some toys on display in one of the rooms of Hughenden Manor.
Hughenden's only about twelve miles or so from where we live and it was the home of Benjamin Disraeli who was a Prime Minister in the time of Queen Victoria. It's now owned by the National Trust and is open to the public.
Lester and I went there for lunch - (not in the house, as with a lot of its properties, the NT has put its cafe in the stables) and a wander through the house today.

It's a praxinoscope, a successor to the zoetrope which had viewing slits cut into the drum all the way round, rather than the mirrors at the centre which this has.
Not sure how I missed this one. It's a great vintage feel the way you did it. Toys of the past are so much more interesting and creative than today's technology based ones. Love it.
