You are showing exactly what the caption says, playing the trumpet. Great splash of shine and reflections pulling us to the focus on those fingers, which seem to be almost moving. Soft focus on the player doesn't make him the subject, to me it's the playing. Strong shot.
Fantastic job, Alison. Love the look and reflections on the trumpet. The details on the man's hands are tremendous. Wonderful dof on the face to keep the look of intensity. Really wonderful shot.
