One of those inside days

I've been a reading maniac this year. Not just the sheltering at home but I started the year off with a bang. My Goodreads goal was 70 books and I'll probably double it by the end of the month. That being said, I was on medical leave in January and I read a lot of graphic novels but still...
I hardly read 2 books a month ! I spend too much time on my phone I think ....bravo !

Nothing wrong with doubling your original goal, in my opinion. Your image captures the way I think that Sunday's should be, soft and slow.

I'm another reader and I'm on Goodreads too. So do you read in French?

And in French! Duh, me thinking Goodreads was a quotes page (I usually find great quotes there). I used to read loads, but I don't have enough hours in the day. Do you have a favourite genre?

I'm on Goodreads as well and always have a book on the go!
I love reading!

Good for you- I read more books in the past. It seems I write more now than read- but every once in a while I pick up a book and enjoy it. You've set a great goal for yourself and this is a good shot to document it.

That’s awesome— I wish I read more like I should my eyes don’t cooperate

@k9photo @overalvandaan I read in French quite a lot because it's what I have most access to through my local library. Last year 67% of what I read was in French.

Here's a link to my challenge, my favorite genre is nonfiction graphic novels....
I have read 131 of 75 books for the 2020 Reading Challenge! What should I read next? http://www.goodreads.com/user_challenges/20524239

@samae Sarah I know what you mean about the eyes and reading. I'm always switching formats to take off the strain. You might enjoy graphic novels as a way to get in reading without straining the eyes as much. Of course audiobooks can be good but enjoying them depends on a lot of factors.

I can't remember the last book I read. Good for you!

Reading—a wonderful way to pass the time.

Good for you

Duh, only used good reads to look for quotes. Never had a proper look at the site. Looks cool! I've signed up, might set myself a challenge. The only graphic novel I remember reading is Maus: A Survivor’s Tale, by Art Spiegelman and I've got that on my bookshelf. I'm sure I've read more, but can't recall. Time to give them a go again!

@overalvandaan if you only read one graphic novel that's a good choice. I'd suggest Perseopolis as a next step

@dustyloup thank you for the tip. I've added it in my Want to Read list on Goodreads, another handy feature :-) I used to write it down on a piece of paper, but then lost the paper.
