“Look at my feathers”

Wow, they got so big and feathers are now covering the body. Still the baby fluff seen on top of their heads. Mom and dad are fiercely trying to keep me away. So a 5 second stop with camera on high speed continues. One handed and just aiming. Pulled off this shot and many blurry ones ;-)

Just adorable - and so nicely focused through the tree

@koalagardens they are thriving well. I am as concerned as you. I did some reading up on understanding their habits. I understood that the mockingbird don’t give up / abandon their nest easily. Nevertheless, I try not to disturb and therefore bring my camera in, shoot quick and call it the day.
That’s why my previous pics are not 100 procent sharp. 12 days in nest... I think they are close on flying out.

I’m with you! They are so big fast.

If the parents knew what you were doing, showing off their family to us, I'm sure they'd be more cooperative. Glad to see they're healthy and growing.

I know sparrow babies require 13 days of feeding before they're ready to leave the nest. don't know how soon your birds are ready.

How precious. You got those little twigs to frame their little faces perfectly.
