The first thing I thought when I saw this was that the magic is spoilt by the strip of land at the bottom. Your shots are so magical because of their bright timeless feel and don't need context in my humble opinion. Still a great shot though.
@suesmith Okay. I looked at it both ways and I agree with you so the strip is gone. Thank you for the feedback. I think that was my gut feeling from the beginning.
wonderful shot! I want to plant my 12 & 13 yr old boys on swings and give it a go, too. But, I know I could never achieve anything close to the feeling in yours.
@pflaume Do it! You'd just get a different feel. Like a boy energy feel. I'd love to see them. (lying down and/or holding your camera down...as in shooting blind...is key
Beautiful - so soft and dreamy! My challenge to you is capture a photo inspired by an iconic film moment/scene. It doesn't have to be an exact duplication - just let you imagination take over and see where it leads. Most of all have fun! Hope this is ok!
@elsbels Yeah. That's a great one. Thanks. That is pretty close to what I gave @seahawker two weeks ago and her responses were amazing (if you want to check them out)...except I said film or moment in history and she mostly chose the latter. I am excited to try it myself!
Oh my goodness, Edie, I just happened upon here for a look-see and YOU make me want to come back! Just amazingly gorgeous (your whole last week!!!) I may have to make a 365 return this summer. Bless you!
@ljm Laura, that is about the nicest comment I've ever had! Thank you so much. Selfishly I would love to see you back on here but I know it has to be right for you! Oh, you made my day! xox
@anzere03 I love that you have faved this. Thank you!
