Slight accident round the corner from work today. Not 100% sure what happened as the account I was given came from a very drunk bloke in the street ... Anyway, the bus took out the steel railings on the pavement (Sidewalk for our US readers), mounted the wall of the underpass, took out the big Underground sign, and then settled somewhat precariously over the steps to the underground.
Favourite quote of the day came from the drunk bloke - "Why is everyone taking pictures?!" - could be something to do with the bus hanging off a wall I suppose ..
ha ha very descriptive,i would have had to try and explain to the drunk man about the project and all the other people are probably posting their picture's too.
Blimey! That's right around the corner from my old office on pudding lane. I wouldn't want to have been coming out of Monument station when that was happening!
